After the draw as a visitor against Unión de Santa Fe in the debut of the South American Conmebol, the Barranquilla Junior wanted to endorse that good result at the Metropolitano against the difficult Fluminense, who had two acquaintances in his starting eleven: Germán Cano and Jhon Arias.

For its part, the Brazilian team had come to achieve a 3-0 home win against Oriente Petrolero of Bolivia and wanted a win like the one it achieved in Bogotá against Millonarios for the previous phase of the Conmebol Libertadores.

At the start of Brasileirao, those led by Abel Braga matched at home without goals against Santos while Junior also tied for the league against Deportivo Cali in Palmaseca.

In the first few minutes. the Barranquilla Junior subdued the Fluminense who was hurt by the bands, especially on the right with Viáfara and Omar Albornoz.

Four minutes later, the first bell for the visitor would come at the Metropolitano after a mid-distance shot by Daniel Giraldo, who deviated into a Fluminense player, but the judge did not take a corner kick.

The modifications quickly took effect and generated his first approach after a cross from Felipe Yago from the left side for Germán Cano who sent the ball over the goal.

At 68 minutes, Fluminense was close to the discount after a free kick charge by Ganzo with a right but found Sebastián Viera well standing, who drowned out the goal cry.

The Junior responded with a quick counterattack that ended with a cross left by Fredy Hinestroza for Edwuin Cetré, who failed to splice with solvency and his shot went outside the goal.

At the time of addition, the Argentine Fabian Sambueza put the cherry for the dessert after recovering a ball in three quarters of the court and defining right to leave things 3-0.

The next start of the Rojiblancos will be on April 28 as a visitor to Oriente of Petrolero who fell in Santa Cruz to Unión.

For the 16th date of the Dimayor Betplay League, the Junior will play in Barranquilla against Atletico Bucaramanga with the aim of winning to get closer to the qualification to the home runs.
