Gussy Lau reappeared with heartbreak song amid rumors of his breakup with Ángela Aguilar

The romance between Ángela Aguilar and Gussy Lau continues to be talked about, especially because of the unknown it has generated, because since the engagement between the award-winning composer and the Mexican regional singer broke out, it is not known whether it continues or because of the stir came to an end.

On the one hand, the 33-year-old musician confirmed after the leak of the photographs where he appears kissing Angela that he is actually having an affair with her, however he specified that he wanted to keep the relationship private, which is why they had not released her to the media.

Gussy said he had “a couple of weeks” dating the so-called “princess of the Mexican regional”, however, fans of the singer speculated that it would be much longer the time they have been together, so criticism was caused by the fact that the composer had started the romance with Pepe Aguilar's daughter when she was still a minor.

This theory gained strength because of the song that René Humberto Lau Ibarra, the full name of the musician who has worked with important exponents of the genre, such as Christian Nodal and Julión Álvarez, composed in honor of Ángela Aguilar.

This is the song Míranos ahora, played by Calibre 50, whose lyrics, written by Gussy, reveal that the couple would already have been in relationship for months and not the “couple of weeks” that the fellow singer born in Mocorito, Sinaloa claimed.

This is how the musician said: “We started dating a couple of weeks ago, Pepe agrees, so does Aneliz, (Angela's mother) already knows my parents, they all know each other, it was private until this damn screen shot that a friend took”.

In addition, in recent days, José Manuel Figueroa, Gussy's friend, told in an interview with Despierta América that he already knew about the relationship before it was made public, but what drew attention is that he referred to it in the past tense, implying that after the scandal it had already come to an end.

“I wish love triumphs, in the end, that's the reality, I loved the couple, they made me a different couple. I already knew, I had already heard, among composers we are very gossipy,” he said, because due to his closeness to Gussy, the son of the remembered Joan Sebastian already knew about the engagement.

Following the words of Figueroa, Gussy, who has won a couple of Latin Grammy awards, published a video that is giving something to talk about. It was in his Instagram stories that the 33-year-old man appears performing a song he authored.

This is a subject of heartbreak that caused speculation about the lyricist's current love situation, as many claimed on social networks that the romance between Angela and him would indeed have come to an end and he would be “hurt”.

The videos gave something to talk about because of the lyrics of the song, entitled On days like these, where he sings, “I've had good days and not so good days, since that night you said 'goodbye'. I've had evenings where I don't remember when you said to me, 'it's not you, it's me'”.

“I guess it's lovesickness. Well, they say don't fall in love. Right now I'm vibrating low, you know what it's like down here. There are days when the chest does not hurt, I wake up with my right foot. Sometimes life smiles at me and I look clearly at the way out, but not today.”

Faced with the song that speaks of an emotional downturn, the question arose whether it is indeed an emotion that Gussy is currently going through because of the possible break with the member of the so-called Aguilar dynasty or is simply celebrating the release of the song that was recorded by the group Los hijos de Barrón.

And the fact is that the Twitter account of the Society of Authors and Composers of Mexico shared a message in which it assured this Wednesday, April 13, that the topic in question won first place in Mexico on Monitor Latino's Hot Song list, a fact that would probably be the reason why Gussy Lau performed the song on his social network.
