The announced departure of Marcelo Michel Leaño as coach of the Chivas of Club Deportivo Guadalajara was confirmed on the morning of this Thursday, April 14. A few hours after falling against the Monterrey Rayados, led by Victor Manuel Vucetich, the board announced his departure. The news was not surprising to the experts, who agreed that the delay only extended the failure.

One of the first characters to speak out about the departure of Amaury Vergara's friend was David Faitelson. The ESPN journalist considered that the exit was the most logical decision because “the situation was untenable. What starts badly...” Likewise, he considered that Leaño's appointment was far from ethical, since his relationship with Jorge Vergara's son might have made it impossible for him to make correct decisions.

On the other hand, with a view to the restructuring of the team, Faitelson suggested a series of moves that included the dismissal of Ricardo Peláez. In the technical direction, after stating that “Michel Leaño had a great coaching position”, he proposed Matías Almeyda as the only character capable of improving the performance of the squad.

Alberto Lati, who has on several occasions recognized his love for the tapatio team, broke out against the character who took the reins of the institution in recent months. “The one who should have been acting is leaving Chivas. It ends a Leño era that failed even in the desire to distribute hugs and affection. And not to mention winning matches”, he posted on his verified Twitter profile.
