Last Wednesday, April 13, it was announced nationally that Juan Antonio Enríquez García, the 'Chiclayo Monster', kidnapped, tortured and raped a under three years of age in Chiclayo. This news outraged thousands of Chiclayans, who gathered outside the Divincri waiting for the aggressor's departure to stone him. Likewise, the #JusticiaParaDamaris has been created on social networks, which became a trend and many users demand the death penalty for the aggressor.
After the incident, the Judiciary of the district of José Leonardo Ortiz handed down nine months of pre-trial detention, accusing him of the crimes of rape and abduction in aggrievance of a small girl of only three years.

Singer Ezio Oliva posted the video of the news on his official Instagram account and accompanied it with a lengthy message expressing all his indignation at the sight of the terrible event. The artist began by apologizing for the words he would use to vent his annoyance against the aggressor and later reflected that not enough is being done as a society to care for a minor.

These are moments where it would be nice if we could take justice into our own hands, but the reality is that we have a judicial system that we hope will take the most drastic measures against this aggressor,” he reads as part of his description.
YIDDA ESLAVA
Another of the show business figures who did not stay silent and asked for justice for the 3-year-old girl was Yiddah Eslava, who shared with her followers the photo of the alleged aggressor and another of the people asking for him to be imprisoned.
In addition, he added an extensive text in which he cited article 173, which details that the crime of rape carries the penalty of life imprisonment, so he pointed out that the guard should not be lowered until the Judiciary condemns the 'Monster of Chiclayo' with that penalty.

Through her Instagram stories, Genesis Tapia recorded herself to comment on the case and couldn't hold back her tears, commenting that she imagined his own daughter in the same situation. He also called for justice to be done.
“Justice must be relentless because it is true that the minor is 3 years old, but it has destroyed it. I ask that justice be served against the subject Juan Antonio Enríquez García who raped the child under the age of 3,” the lawyer is heard saying.

The host of Yo Soy, Karen Schwarz joined the list of show business figures who raised their voice in protest against the abuse of the 3-year-old girl in Chiclayo. On his Instagram account, he shared photos and a video where he told his feelings when he saw the news.
“We raise our voice for Damaris. Pain, indignation, frustration, ENOUGH of so much violence. Our children are not touched, they are not beaten, they are not abused, they are not killed. Life imprisonment for a monster like this guy. WE WILL NEVER BE SILENT AGAIN,” he wrote in his post.

Johanna San Miguel was outraged by the decision of the Judiciary by issuing only 9 months of pre-trial detention to Juan Antonio Enríquez García while awaiting his sentence, which many expect will be life imprisonment.
“We are no longer surprised or indignant, it disgusting us. How is it possible that the judiciary dictates 9 months of pretrial detention to a monster who has kidnapped and raped a 3-year-old girl in Chiclayo. Until when?” , said the host of Esto es Guerra annoyed.
