A great alternative to enjoy holidays is the cultural side. That is why the Ministry of Culture makes available to the general public the list of museums that will be attending during these dates. Take note and set up your itinerary.
AMAZONAS
- Exhibition Room “Gilberto Tenorio Ruiz”
Address: Jr. Ayacucho No. 904, Chachapoyas, Amazon.
Hours of Operation: Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 3:00 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.
Price: adults pay S/ 5, higher education students S/2, schoolchildren S/1 and older adults (seniors) and teachers pay S/ 2.50 for their admission.
APURÍMAC
- Archaeological and Anthropological Museum of Apurimac and former Hacienda Illanya House
Address: Casa Hacienda Illanya s/n, Abancay, Abancay.
Opening hours: Friday 15, from 3:30 p.m. to 4:20 p.m. | Reading outdoors.
Saturday 16, from 3:30 p.m. to 5:10 p.m. | Screening of documentaries.
CAJAMARCA
- Archaeological and Ethnographic Museum of the Belén Monumental Site
Address: Belén 571, Cajamarca.
Opening hours: Thursday 14 to Sunday 17, from 09:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. In addition, you will find an Expoventa of Handmade Products in the Belén Monumental Complex.
LIMA
- Place of Memory, Tolerance and Social Inclusion - LUM

Hours of Operation: Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Price: admission is free with ID card and vaccination card with full doses against COVID-19.
- Museum of Italian Art
Address: Avenue Paseo de la República 250, Cercado de Lima.
Hours of Operation: Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.
Price: adults: S/6 soles, students of higher education S/.3 soles and students of school education without workshop: S/ 1.

- National Museum of Peru - Muna
The mission of the MUNA is to be a space for dialogue and encounter through the protection and appreciation of cultural diversity; emphasizing the relationships and connections between different cultural groups of Peruvians and Peruvians in its territory throughout history.

- Pucllana Site Museum

Opening hours: Friday 15 to Sunday 17, from 09:00 to 16:15 hours | Learn about the history of the ceremonial center of Pucllana
Price: adults make a payment of S/ 12. Higher education students with ID: S/6 soles. School students: S/ 1.

- National Museum of Peruvian Culture
During your visit you will also be able to see various exhibitions within the museum. You will be able to see Awajun pottery, research on Machu Picchu, among other activities.

Opening hours: Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Price: general admission from 6 soles. For students, the entrance with a license is 3 soles and the entrance for older adults is 3 soles.
- Pachacámac Museum

Opening hours: Thursday 14 to Sunday 17, from 09:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Huallamarca Site Museum
Address: 201 Nicolás de Ribera Avenue, San Isidro, Lima.
Opening hours: The days you can go are Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Price: adults must make a payment of S/ 5. Students in higher education: S/ 3 and students of school education: S/ 1.
In this museum they have special prices and are as follows:
Adults over 60 years old, voluntary military service, teachers and adults with disabilities, proceed to pay S/ 2.50.
Students with disabilities: S/ 1.50.
Minors with disabilities: S/ 0.50.
- National Museum of Archaeology, Anthropology and History of Peru - Pueblo Libre Museum
Address: Plaza Bolivar s/n, Pueblo Libre - Lima.
Opening hours: open days from Monday to Sunday from 09:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Price: The cost of admission for adults is S/ 10. Students in higher education have to pay S/.1 to enter and students in school education without a guide must make a payment of S/ 1.

FACT: To enter any of the museums, the Ministry of Culture reminds that visitors must present their vaccination card. For those over 18 years old, they must carry all three doses and wear a KN95 mask or double surgical mask.
