In a series of publications she made through her 'InstaStories', the former participant of 'The Agency' confessed that she used 2CB and the reason that led her to be admitted to a rehabilitation clinic on the recommendation of a health professional specializing in this type of addiction, in addition to that of her friends and family.

After being away from social media for a while and running somewhat confusing posts regarding her emotions, Mara Cifuentes surprised on her social networks with a post in which she showed her appearance years before starting her transition from man to woman, making it clear that her essence remains the same.

“I'm still the same, only with more style, you won't see me fall. In 2019, viewers who follow Caracol Televisión's programming found a new reality show on their screens, it was 'La Agencia: battle of models' in which Mara Cifuentes participated along with a group of contestants looking for the opportunity to take home the 400 million pesos prize.

Although the model was not the winner, her participation in the reality show served to catapult her fame as a runway model and since that time, her social media life has been in the midst of criticism and positive comments for her bravery in confessing that she was a trans woman.

In addition to this, he revealed that his experience was not entirely pleasant and in his Instagram stories he told details inside the program.

I'm hurt, everything I experienced on that reality show was very strong and it still is. I still try to overcome many things that I experienced there and after exposing that you are trans it has many consequences, but in the end I understood that this happened to me because God needed many of my mermaids to get up and raise their voices,” he said.
