“You're not going to see me fall”: this is what Mara Cifuentes looked like when she was a child

In recent weeks Mara Cifuentes has given her followers something to talk about because of the controversial confession she made about her incursion into drugs after a love depression. Since then, the eyes of her fans fell on the model and on each of the posts she makes on her Instagram account, as it has sometimes been speculated that her addiction problem was the cause of the dry brake of her career.

In a series of publications she made through her 'InstaStories', the former participant of 'The Agency' confessed that she used 2CB and the reason that led her to be admitted to a rehabilitation clinic on the recommendation of a health professional specializing in this type of addiction, in addition to that of her friends and family.

After being away from social media for a while and running somewhat confusing posts regarding her emotions, Mara Cifuentes surprised on her social networks with a post in which she showed her appearance years before starting her transition from man to woman, making it clear that her essence remains the same.

“I'm still the same, only with more style, you won't see me fall. After hitting the bottom, gain momentum and get up there is only way up, to swim little mermaid, there is still a lot to do”, were the words that the model shared on her official Instagram account, wearing frizzy hair, with a teenager profile and wearing men's clothes.

And the words of the content generator did not end there, because in her description she assured that she loves to see these types of photographs and the feeling they generate for her, overcoming obstacles to be able to get to the look she looks like today.

“I love myself, seeing that photo reminded me of everything I had to go through to get here,” Cifuentes concluded in his message, and although he restricted comments and the possibility of counting likes in the publication, dozens of followers have already interacted with his images.

In 2019, viewers who follow Caracol Televisión's programming found a new reality show on their screens, it was 'La Agencia: battle of models' in which Mara Cifuentes participated along with a group of contestants looking for the opportunity to take home the 400 million pesos prize.

Although the model was not the winner, her participation in the reality show served to catapult her fame as a runway model and since that time, her social media life has been in the midst of criticism and positive comments for her bravery in confessing that she was a trans woman.

In addition to this, he revealed that his experience was not entirely pleasant and in his Instagram stories he told details inside the program.

“I'm hurt, everything I experienced on that reality show was very strong and it still is. I still try to overcome many things that I experienced there and after exposing that you are trans it has many consequences, but in the end I understood that this happened to me because God needed many of my mermaids to get up and raise their voices,” he said.
