After several weeks of speculation, a few days ago the rumor was confirmed that Rocío Sánchez Azuara would leave her program Rocío at your side, broadcast on the Imagen Televisión signal, to return to the ranks of TV Azteca, where the social talk show host reached her most popular years.
The version was confirmed when Pati Chapoy aired during her program Ventaneando that the host would soon be back at the Ajusco company. At the same time, Sánchez Azuara was seen on the television station's premises and that was how she confirmed her return to the place that she saw her grow up in programs such as Ciudad desnuda and Cosas de la vida.
On the afternoon of this Tuesday, April 12, the 58-year-old host appeared as a guest at the Ventaneando forum, where she gave previews of her next program, which will be called Acércate a Rocío, curiously titled as the initial stage of the broadcast she hosted on Imagen Televisión.
In addition, the celebrity shared the reasons why she left the television company that hosted her show during the last year. Contrary to some versions that circulated regarding the reasons for Rocío's departure, the presenter clarified that she was not left in bad terms with the executives of Imagen Televisión, but that its change is due to the specific requirements of the program she heads.
Rocío said that his contract ended and he did not dare to sign a new one because he needed a larger projection platform, capable of reaching a much larger audience: “In the last case they had me on trial for three months, it was my project, at no time was there a lie, they had me on trial for three months, then six, we signed but the year expired. The proposal to return to Azteca appeared and I returned because there are better opportunities to be able to help,” he told the broadcast, where he was warmly welcomed.
Sánchez Azuara made it clear that Imagen Televisión enjoyed good working conditions, but due to the nature of his program, he required a more popular exhibition platform: “Not that I felt bad, but to achieve the program's goal of course you need a much bigger window.”
The upcoming program to be released also represents something special for the host, as she planned it with her late daughter Daniela, who lost her life as a result of complications arising from her condition: Lupus erythematosus.
After seven years away from Azteca, the presenter said that she found a big change in the facilities: “I found it super changed, I remember where certain spaces are... I missed everything, it's my house all my life, many people tell me 'but it's that they ran you out', it doesn't matter, at the end of the day the industry is industry, and you're a talent, you're a professional and it's over, I go where they invite me, but I never left Azteca, make it very clear”.
