Welfare Pension: this is the calendar for the registration of adults who turned 65 between January and April

Good news was launched by the Welfare Secretariat for all those who have reached the age of 65 between January and April of this year, as it presented the registration calendar to be part of the Pensión del Bienestar program, which was created by the Government of Mexico to support older adults.

According to the Secretariat, the registration process will take place in person from April 18, as modules will be installed throughout the country except for the 6 states with the electoral process.

In this way, the interested parties must attend at the place and date established on the basis of their first surname. For this, at least 2,31 modules will be installed, which will be installed in various parts of the country, with the exception of the entities in the electoral process.

What is the registration schedule?

*April 18 and 25: letters A, B, C

*April 19 and 26: D, E, F, G, H

*April 20 and 27: I, J, K, L, M

*April 21 and 28: N, Ñ, O, P, Q, R

*April 22 and 29: S, T, U, V, W, X, Y, Z

*April 23 and 30: any letter.

To avoid setbacks, the agency announced how they will be able to join the program that offers 3,850 pesos of financial aid granted every two months to the elderly.

How to register?

*Interested persons must go to the module closest to their home to carry out the procedure. To consult it you can enter here.

*They must also attend with the following documents that are:

*Birth certificate

*Unique Population Registration Key (CURP)

*Valid official identification

*Proof of address valid for a maximum of six months

*Contact phone

It must be remembered that the process is face-to-face, free of charge and without intermediaries. For any clarification or doubt, older adults can call 800 639 42 64.

Since last month, pensioners have already registered received at least two payments in a single exhibition, that is, the resources corresponding to the months of March-April and May-June.

According to the government of Mexico, this was an advance on the pension, due to the approximation of the elections, and with the aim of preventing them from using resources for electoral purposes.

For this reason, older adults received 7,700 pesos during the month of March and will return to normal from July, according to the Secretariat of Welfare. The balance of the card can be reviewed without having to leave home, through a phone call.

It will also be necessary to detail that the increase in the pension will continue until the end of the six-year term of the current President of the Republic, Andrés Manuel López Obrador. This is a gradual plan, which will seek to benefit millions of people with more than 5,000 pesos by 2024.

The Bienestar card is associated with a bank account, so it can be used in various ways, such as: making deposits, receiving payments, enabling it to make transfers, among others.
