This is how Victor Vucetich demerited the Chivas vs. Monterrey match

Despite the fact that the Guadalajara club was the last club to lead “King Midas” before Rayados, it was not important to return to the Akron Stadium

The Chivas squad will face the Monterrey Rayados as part of the rescheduled Day 12 of the 2022 Clausura. Next Wednesday, April 13, the royal team will visit the Monterrey club at the Akron Stadium; the date will mean the return of Victor Manuel Vucetich to Tapatias lands after his dismissal from the Herd in September 2021.

On his arrival in Guadalajara, Jalisco, the coach of La Pandilla spoke briefly with Erik López of TUDN and shared the excitement caused him to be reunited with his former club and his former players, since his departure took place amid a general disagreement of the rojiblanca fans because of the results that at that time accumulated.

Without giving greater importance to the event, King Midas demerited the relevance of the match and called it “a normal party” in which he will come out with the aim of winning in favor of the regals.

And when asked what it meant to return to Guadalajara, he said that “it is not special”, so he was calm to return to the court of the Akron Stadium. He made it clear that he no longer had any ties to Chivas; despite the fact that expectations have been generated around the rivalry of both clubs, Vucetich declared that it is another game within his work as a professional coach.

It should be recalled that the match on date 12 was previously scheduled for the first week of April, but due to the concerts of the British band Coldplay in Akron, both clubs in coordination with Liga MX decided to postpone the match to play in better conditions on the court.
