They seized “monster” and thousands of cartridges in abandoned trailer in the bastion of the CJNG

Elements of the National Guard seized a vehicle with artisanal armor, known as a monster, as well as thousands of ammunition of various calibers that were abandoned in the bastion of the Jalisco Nueva Generación Cartel (CJNG).

According to the federal authorities' report, the modified unit was inside a trailer located in the municipality of Jamay, near Lake Chapala. The officers carried out surveillance work, when they observed a group of people in a suspicious attitude on the side of the tractor truck.

When the civilians became aware of the presence of official vehicles, they fled in different directions and left the cargo vehicle abandoned. Despite the fact that the elements of the National Guard pursued the subjects, they managed to escape.

When carrying out the inspection, they located the armored car, of which the result is still expected to establish whether it has a report of theft, due to the fact that its body was altered. The monster was inside the trailer box and there were also about two thousand useful cartridges of different calibers.
