Mexican businessman Ricardo Salinas Pliego recommended that the population save on Bitcoins in the face of the problem of inflation that is plaguing the country.

Through his Twitter account, the owner of Grupo Salinas and Tv Azteca wrote: “We already know what will happen to inflation, I recommend you buy #Bitcoin to take care of your money, at least a small saving.

“'Every time a government has decided to inflate the money supply, there has been no way to escape the negative repercussions'” -The Bitcoin pattern, while sharing a motivational image.

Salinas Pliego is the third richest man in Mexico (he has a fortune of USD 12,520 billion), behind only Carlos Slim (USD 55,930 million); Germán Larrea, who has a fortune of USD 27,110 million.

The tycoon has businesses of various spheres, including those in the entertainment, telecommunications, financial services and banking sectors, as well as retail, also known as retail.

In addition to being the owner of one of the most important television stations in Mexico, Ricardo Benjamín Salinas Pliego owns many other firms, so according to Forbes, he is the third richest man in Mexico, having a fortune of more than 12 billion dollars.

Salinas Pliego began his career in 1987, when he became Managing Director of Elektra. Until that year, the company had only 59 points of sale throughout the country.

The businessman redirected the company's turn to the sale of commodities, such as white goods, furniture and electronics commerce. Later, it integrated financial and banking services, such as the creation of Banco Azteca, in 2002. He later launched Afore Azteca, a retirement fund manager and also acquired an insurance company, now known as Seguros Azteca.

In 2012, Salinas Pliego purchased Advance America, a US company engaged in the business of short-term non-bank lending, and also opened branches of Punto Casa de Bolsa, a stock exchange subsidiary that provides advice and services in raising capital, risk management and trade finance. for companies, institutions or governments.

The businessman is president of TV Azteca, a television station he founded in 1993, after the sale of the government channel Instituto Mexicano de la Televisión (IMEVISION). The businessman led a group of investors with which it was possible to acquire two national television channels and that, under his leadership, managed to end the television monopoly in Mexico, to consolidate itself as the second largest producer of Spanish-language content in the world.
