MENSAJE DEL PAPA FRANCISCO

Through his official Twitter account, he shared a message to the faithful believers regarding peace during the last general audience. These were his words:

“The peace of the Lord follows the way of meekness and the cross: it is to take care of others. Christ, in fact, has taken upon himself our evil, our sin and our death. That's how he freed us. His peace is not the result of some agreement, but is born of the gift of self. While worldly power leaves only destruction and death, Christ's peace builds history, starting from the heart of every man who welcomes it. The weapons of the Gospel are prayer, tenderness, forgiveness and free love of neighbor, for every neighbor. This is how God's peace is brought into the world. That is why the armed aggression of these days, like any war, represents an outrage to God.”
