The Latin America Music Awards (Latin AMAs) have stood out for honoring the most important representatives of the music industry and this year will pay tribute to the most influential Latin artists who were chosen by the fan votes.

The event of this 7th edition will be hosted by Jaqueline Bracamontes, Rafael Amaya and Chilean actor Cristian de la Fuente. In addition, it will be held from the Michelob Ultra Arena of the Madalay By Resort Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Some celebrities who will present the awards include: Adamari Lopez, Alicia Machado, Giselle Blondet, Firme Group, “El Puma” Jose Luis Rodriguez, Mariah Angeliq, Myrka Dellanos, Omar Velasco, Don René Camacho and Sofia Castro.

It will have a live audience and it was stipulated that the health and safety protocols in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic will be in force.

Another important moment of the gala will be that the famous Mexican singer Lupita D'Alessio will be awarded the Legend Award during the seventh edition of the awards.

Lupita D'Alessio supports more than 50 years of a successful artistic career that she has enshrined with great tenacity and strength, creating a unique style that has elevated her as one of the best performers in Mexico and a music superstar in Latin America,” Telemundo said in a statement.

The Legend Award is given to artists who, with the mere mention of their name, evoke a vibrant and successful image within the music industry. It was in mid-2021 that Lupita D'Alessio celebrated more than 50 years of artistic career and, with which, she has positioned herself as one of the most important Spanish-speaking artists in the last few decades.

At the 2021 awards, some of the most remembered winners included Bad Bunny, Karol G, Prince Royce, Christian Nodal and Shakira. Even, according to official figures, the program set a record with 42.4 million interactions across digital, social and television platforms and was the most social program on television that day.

The exclusive to this ceremony will be held by Telemundo Internacional and the event can be tuned in from 18:00 hours, as the event will start with the renowned Red Carpet - which will be broadcast simultaneously on E! Online Latin.

Other ways to tune in may be on the Peacock streaming service and the Universo cable channel.

Within the category “Artist of the Year”, there is Bad Bunny, Camilo, Armado Link, Farruko, J Balvin, Jhay Cortez, Karol G, Myke Towers, Ozuna, Rauw Alejandro.

Also, some of the possible winners for new artist of the year are shaping up: Gera MX, Ivan Cornejo, Jay Wheeler, Kali Uchis, Los Legendarios, María Becerra, Mariah Angeliq.

Kali Uchis, Karol G, Natti Natasha, Rosalia, Selena Gómez, Sergio Lizárraga's MS Band, Firme Group, René Camacho's The Sweeping Banda El Limón, Sebastián Yatra, Anitta and Anuel AA are another of the performers who are also nominated for various categories.

However, Bad Bunny tops the list of nominees with ten mentions, followed by eight by Jhay Cortez, while J Balvin, Karol G and Rauw Alejandro have seven.
