1. The city of Huaraz:

Huaraz is the capital of Ancash and is located at an altitude of 3,080 meters above sea level in the Andes. The cathedral, the Sagrario San Sebastián, the tourist office and the archaeology museum are points that you should visit and access them is very easy.

Remember that Laguna 69 is 96 km from Huaraz and at an altitude of 4,570 meters above sea level.

4. Laguna Llanganuco:

5. Laguna Parón:

The Parón Lagoon is one of the largest in the Cordillera Blanca. It is 4,185 meters above sea level and its beautiful turquoise color and the landscape of the snowy mountains that surround it will catch you. This lagoon has the largest and most important freshwater reservoir in the Cordillera Blanca. It has been considered a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1985, due to its high ecological value.

This natural wonder is surrounded and protected by different snowfalls, such as Artesonraju, Pyramid, Huandoy Norte, Chacraraju, Paria and Pisco. To get there you must walk approximately 3 to 4 hours. Here you can do sports such as Kayaking under the supervision of a specialized guide.

6. Laguna Churup:

Accessing this lagoon is very easy and will be one of the first wonders of nature that you will see. It has shades ranging from deep blue to emerald. This whole range of colors is surrounded by spectacular mountains around it.

It is located more than 4000 meters above sea level and has a breathtaking view of the snow-capped mountains of the Cordillera Blanca, as well as the Cordillera Negra.

7. Nevado Pastoruri Base:

The Nevado de Pastoruri is undoubtedly a clear live example of how climate change affects. This is one of the glaciers that has been consumed by the consequences of environmental pollution.

The glacier still retains a beautiful view, lagoons and frozen water in the form of cuttings.
