Easter holidays have arrived, many have their children at home and probably won't leave home because of the risk of getting COVID-19, especially minors who have not been vaccinated against the disease. To help them not get bored you can install some applications on your mobile device.

Technology has already proven to be an ally for learning and entertainment. The applications give a wide variety of options for children and even teenagers to have a good time while playing and learning. In addition, while they are entertained, adults can take advantage of the opportunity to carry out pending work or household chores.

The best way for a minor to be entertained is through games. For this, it is not necessary to resort to titles that may be violent or inappropriate because there are several educational titles.

The practice of making educational video games is called a href="https://www.infobae.com/america/tecno/2022/01/07/la-app-para-que-menores-aprendan-matematicas-mientras-juegan-en-un-mundo-medieval/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"bgamification. This is a model that has been used on many occasions and has been shown to be effective for children to have fun while reviewing school topics.

In the app stores there are several gamification apps that can be taken advantage of during this holiday or even on subsequent weekends, when the child has free time.

1.- Mathematical Oracle

This is a free application for Android, available on the Google Play Store, where children at the primary level can play while they review their math classes.

It is set in a medieval universe, with legendary characters, in which through adventures children must solve problems of mental calculation, geometry, mathematical understanding, geometric figures and, in some episodes, universal history.

As they advance, they accumulate points, climb levels, and receive prizes such as powers and abilities while living the game experience.

2.- Lego Duplo Marvel

This app is aimed at younger children. These are several play-like activities where Spider-Man, Captain America and more, through simulated adventures teach you to “save the day” with good actions such as saving a cat or washing dishes.

Also, this game helps the child to develop their imagination and skills, since with simulation games with heroes, they can build environments with Lego bricks, can also solve problems with puzzles, among other gamification activities.

3.- Pokémon Games House

While this title is not entirely focused on learning or reviewing a school subject, it serves as an entertainment, helping children interact and learn some responsibility. It is aimed at children up to five years of age.

In this game, girls and girls can interact with all kinds of Pokémon while exploring different places, including a garden and a dining room. Within each one there are activities where they can take care of a Pokémon or look at the stars to identify a Pokémon among them.

When the minor starts the game, he is given a Pokémon egg that he must take care of, as he completes the activities of the House it will hatch.

4.- Edmodo

This free application is aimed at keeping teachers and students connected. It is like an educational social network, as prizes can be assigned to students. There are challenges and exercises where students receive badges for their efforts.

5.- Lingokids

This application is for learning the basics of English. It is entertaining and dynamic with which children can review or learn new words that in the future will be of great help to speak the language. It's free to download.
