Despite the fact that the name Cristian de la Fuente is linked to the name of major soap opera productions in Mexico, in recent weeks he has been involved in a regrettable news that has quickly given rise to talk about, because during an attempted assault in Chile his daughter Laura was wounded with a bullet in the leg, from who survived, but is still in recovery.
Faced with this, the actor confessed that his life was also in great danger. In a recent interview with various media outlets, Cristián de la Fuente returned to Tierra Azteca to meet with Argentine actors Juan Soler and Horacio Pancheri - with whom he will soon be working on a very rumored project on social networks - so journalists did not hesitate to ask him about the tragic scene and he talked about the time he could die, after a bullet grazed his head.
“And I'm here luckily, the bullet passed me 3 centimeters from my head. Unfortunately it gave it to my daughter, I would have asked to give it to me and not her, but I am lucky that my daughter is alive and is recovering”, the actor began to relate for the first time in melodramas such as Dream of Love, I Want to Love You and Amor Bravío.
On the current health of her daughter Laura, the 17-year-old girl who was discharged to continue her recovery at home, where she has remained sheltered by the affection of her father and mother, Angelica Castro, from La Fuente shared some updates about how she is doing, as the news at the time moved the social networks of several celebrities who did not hesitate to let him know their support:
“He still does not have complete mobility in his right leg, which is the most affected leg, where the bullet entered and came out,” the Chilean heartthrob commented in statements taken up by the Despierta América program.
Cristián shared that fortunately his daughter is already having mobility in her foot again, despite how cumbersome a traumatic situation such as a gunshot can be and the closeness that there is with the scene in their lives, so he also confessed with joy that Laura has already set herself various challenges in her life and that is helping her the whole process is much easier and more enjoyable.
“But little by little it is starting to move it... We have faith that he will walk,” said the actor. In turn, he said that Laura has set herself a great challenge that she wants to fulfill together with him once she manages to recover completely. “She has the dream, she put it in her head that next year she wants to do a triathlon with me. She is in a good mood, she is optimistic, she has difficult days, but she is an angel, she is a wonderful girl and I thank God that she is still with me,” she added.
Cristián narrated that both he and his beloved daughter have put themselves in the hands of a specialist to deal with the hard emotional blow that that assault meant and thus not only let the physical heal, but also the mental: “Both Laura and I are in therapy, but today my priority is that Laura is better, when Laura is better there I will leave to worry about being better myself. Obviously, being shot at, pointing a gun at you, are things that... to see your daughter with a bullet... Everything we've been through has been hard for both of us, but it's been much harder for Laura,” he said.
