At the request of the Attorney General's Office, a guarantee control judge in Cartagena pronounced an assurance measure against Yerson David Pedroza Pájaro, who was an alleged thief who broke into a house and also forced a minor to perform sexual acts.
This decision is related to the events that took place on April 4 on public roads in the Getsemani neighborhood of the capital of Bolívar, where members of the National Police observed that a group of people beat a street inhabitant, so they intervened to save his integrity.
According to the investigation, it was possible to establish that he was a man, 24 years old, had been caught moments earlier in a residential complex, where he entered to steal belongings, but he also took the opportunity to touch the private parts of a minor who resides there under threat with a knife.
The action was discovered by a relative of the minor who asked her neighbors for help and managed to arrest the offender.
In the concentrated hearings, the defendant did not accept the charges brought by the prosecutor and his detention will take place in the Ternera prison in Cartagena.
A video is circulating on social networks where a woman is seen crying, after being burned by a customer, when she allegedly reached into the fryer with the hot oil. The events were recorded in a commercial premises in the historic center of Cartagena.
According to witnesses and the collection of testimonies published on different portals and social networks, a woman came in the company of a minor, asked for some empanadas and/or egg arepas. After waiting several minutes, the order arrived cold, at least that's what the customer claimed. Other versions claim that the problem was because what they served her, was not what she had asked for.
The discussion began to “rise in tone” when the client threw an object to the worker a jar of sauce, some statements point out, a fact that triggered a fight inside the premises. While struggling, those involved ended up approaching the fryer, filled with hot oil.
The two versions used are: the first that the minor, frightened or surprised by the situation, approached where the women were and this triggered the burn, because he got into the fight and ended up burning the woman. The second is that the client took the worker's arm and put it in the hot oil.
In response to what happened, the Metropolitan Police arrived to attend to the case, arrested the client and transferred the employee to a health center, who was diagnosed with first-degree burns on her hand and arm, as well as some other lacerations from the oil spread.
After receiving medical attention, both women were placed at the disposal of the Attorney General's Office. The judiciary prosecuted them for the crime of “reciprocal personal injury”, so they are awaiting the ruling of a judge, who will determine the fine or the penalties that must be paid for the events that occurred.
