Holy Week came as a season for religious rejoicing, but also for rest, because it is used as a school break for students and, as well, as an opportunity to travel on the holidays of Thursday and Good Friday. The District Institute for Risk Management and Climate Change (IDIGER) calls for social awareness to maintain biosecurity measures and avoid possible risks that may arise during these dates.
Guillermo Escobar, director general of IDIGER, reiterated that the entity has carried out “the Plan of Action for Easter Season 2022 where we have considered different aspects, including capacity, stampedes, consequences on human and physical security due to overcrowding, collapse of structures, structural fires, behaviors non - adaptive and food poisoning, mechanical failures in vertical transport systems and stray persons”.
The fact is that Holy Week in the city brings with it important challenges, one of them being the tourist activities that await the entry and exit of some 760,000 vehicles, there the corresponding entities will have their equipment, who will be responsible for maintaining order and control of any event that may arise.
Likewise, more than 200,000 people are expected to attend events that will take place throughout the city during Major Week. Here are the places you can visit in Bogotá to get active and enjoy:
Monserrate pedestrian path
The Monserrate Trail will be enabled on the following holy days: Thursday 14th, Friday 15th, Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th April, between 5:00 a.m. and noon to ascend.
It is planned that, for the busiest days, people will have as their last option to go down the trail at 4:00 p.m.
Park of the Bride and Groom

● The three-person canoe is worth $15,000 pesos for half an hour and $20,000 for one hour.
Simon Bolivar Park
In this park in Bogotá you can walk, run, play a football match, do activities with your pets and exercise, have a picnic, enjoy the green areas, children's games, the lake, the pier and the different food and hydration modules.
Ciudad Montes Park
