Andy Ruiz will return to Mexico to fight at the Plaza de Toros in CDMX

The former heavyweight world champion will fight Tyrone Spong at the bullring in the Mexican capital

Andy Ruiz Junior, the first Mexican-American unified heavyweight champion will return to Mexico to fight, for the first time since 2010. The news was confirmed through the social networks of the promoter Thriller Fight Club. The native of California, United States, will lead the lineup scheduled for July 16 at the capital's Monumental Bullring, with which he will hold his first exhibition in a CDMX arena in his professional career.
