Alianza Lima will look to win again tonight in the Copa Libertadores, but at the helm will have a tough rival, Colo Colo, who has a good time in the Chilean league and internationally. These two teams, who respect each other and showed their friendship in a recent video, have already met on different occasions and there is a small advantage in favor of the 'albo' team.

In total they have crossed paths 19 times with 8 victories for the 'Cacique'. On 6 occasions the 'blue and white' won, while the other 5 matches equalized on the scoreboard. It is important to note that this will be the first time they meet in this competition.

The last match they played took place on February 14, 2018 as part of the 'Night Alba', when the 'intimates' made their preseason ahead of the tournaments they were going to play that year. The result was 3-1 in favor of the team led by Pablo Guede at the time. Pablo Bengoechea was the strategist of the La Victoria team and the footballers wore a green shirt.

On the other hand, the last champions of Peruvian football have in their favor the biggest win that occurred in matches between both teams. It was in 1933, when Alianza Lima beat Colo Colo by a categorical 8-1.

They will now be measured this Wednesday from 5:00pm (Peruvian time) as part of the second date of group F of the Copa Libertadores, where the Chileans and River Plate are the only ones with three points. This commitment will be played at the Monumental David Arellano stadium and will be able to count on both fans.

GUSTAVO QUINTEROS REFERRED TO THE MATCH

The Argentine coach commented at a recent press conference that he has analyzed Alianza Lima. He was attentive to the game against the 'Millionaires' and believes that the 'whites' should be better placed because of the good compromise they made.

“We have analyzed Alianza a lot and what it is doing on the field, at least what it did with River Plate, does not reflect the position that is in the table, I think it should be better in Peruvian football,” said Gustavo Quinteros in the previous one.
