About five motorcyclists riding in groups were victims over the weekend of an aggressive assault in the area of La Marquesa, in the State of Mexico.

The incident occurred on April 9 on a terrecería road located somewhere in La Marquesa, one of the most popular destinations on the outskirts of Mexico City to spend a recreational moment among nature and with family or friends.

“I'm Andy Castillo. This is the story of how we suffered a robbery yesterday in La Marquesa. This happened on Saturday, April 9. We were already on our way back, a car crosses us and a guy comes out with the gun and this is what happened,” Castillo says at the beginning of the video he posted on his YouTube channel, dedicated to motorcycling.

In the images, taken from a camera on a motorcycle helmet, you can see that the group was driving on an unpaved road, when a black vehicle blocked them.

At that moment, a man armed with white clothes and a hat, who was hidden in the undergrowth approached them, and while he pointed a gun at them and threatened them, the driver of the car, dressed completely in black and with his face covered, went down and supported his accomplice in the collection of belongings.

“Camera, güey”, “Come closer, güey”, “Throw away the motitos”, “I just come for the gadgets my dog”, “My skinny gadgets”, “There you go, lie on the floor, or anything I'll kill you and your dick”. These were some of the threats made by the assailants.

At one point during the robbery, one of the motorcyclists claimed from the assailants that they had paid to be in that area. “Hey buddy, we paid to be here.” However, one of the men answered him: “Put the phone on him, I'm worth a dick.”

Cell phones, cameras and a helmet were apparently the loot that was achieved by armed criminals, who after exhorting motorcyclists to leave the place quickly escaped and fled in the black car at full speed.

The video, which is almost 11 minutes long, shows the motorcyclists, still in shock, walking in a hurry and hiding in the trees, before returning for their motorcycles and returning along the same path they had arrived on.

The Edomex Attorney General's Office launched an investigation folder based on videos disseminated on social networks. “The FGJ started a research folder based on videos disseminated on social networks where potential motorcyclists are apparently victims of theft in the La Marquesa area. This institution will carry out efforts to identify and arrest likely participants.”
