The State Attorney General's Office (FGE) of Nuevo León reported that on April 11 a car with three decomposing bodies was found inside it in the municipality of Anahuac, on the border with Texas, in the United States.

Authorities detailed in a statement Tuesday that the unit and the bodies were in a rainwater reservoir, located next to the Monterrey-Nuevo Laredo free highway, at kilometer 174+150.

And it is that a motorway worker found them at 14:00 hours while draining the bilges from the collectors or pits, when he observed the car completely overturned with the tires up, apparently as a result of a road accident, so he reported the incident to the National Guard.

Emergency services arrived at the scene to move the Chevrolet vehicle, type Sonyc, in yellow, with NBX-4740 license plates from the state of Texas. In the driver's seat was a body that wore blue jeans, black sneakers and a shirt without being distinguished, apparently from the female sex, who still had the vehicle's seat belt.

The second body, apparently of the female sex, was located in the back seat on the driver's side, who wore a striped blouse, shorts and footwear that could not be seen; and the third lifeless body, apparently male, was lying along the back seat of the vehicle, wearing a t-shirt in bright yellow, shorts. without being able to appreciate color or footwear.

According to the first investigations, three members of a family of Mexican origin, reported missing and who, because they have US nationality, the FBI participated in their search.

Subject to full identification of the victims through DNA tests, they would be Gladys Cristina Pérez Sánchez, 39, and her children, Juan Carlos, 16 and Michele Cristina, six years old, who disappeared on June 13, 2021, after visiting relatives in Sabinas Hidalgo, Nuevo León, and heading to their destination in the state of Texas.
