Registrar and CNE must present plan to “shield” the first and second presidential rounds

The entities, at the request of the Office of the Procurator, have five days to submit the action plan

In view of the high number of complaints of irregularities during the elections of March 13, the Attorney General's Office ordered measures to “shield the elections”. The National Registry and the National Electoral Council (CNE) are the entities responsible for mitigating risks during the first and second presidential rounds, so the supervisory body asked to present a plan to achieve this objective. The route must be presented no later than the next week.
