The businesswoman Karelim López gave the Prosecutor's Office new details about the relationship he allegedly had with President Pedro Castillo. In her role as an effective collaborator, she revealed that she was directly involved in the organization of the president's 52nd birthday party, which took place on October 19, 2021.

According to his statements, this celebration, which included the presence of Bruno Pacheco and the fugitive nephews of the head of state, Fray Vasquez Castillo and Gian Marco Castillo, would have taken place unexpectedly. This is related to Palacio's record of visits, where it is confirmed that before the event, Karelim López visited the former presidential secretary in a “working meeting”, as was officially declared.

From what has been revealed above, it is known that the businesswoman has previously organized various events for the family of Pedro Castillo, and his relatives. On previous occasions, he would have planned the birthday party for the president's daughter, as well as in a celebration for Pacheco's daughter.

According to López, different entertainment was available at the president's party: a mariachi show, a presentation at the Brisas del Titicaca, typical music and cocktails with ram on the stick. To achieve all this, she revealed that the Ministers of State reached her an amount of 5 thousand soles, and she completed the rest.

“I spent 7,000 soles on all this, 5,000 of which Bruno Pacheco gave me indicating that it was the ministers' fee, but they did not reimburse me for the remaining 2,000,” explained the lobbyist.

Karelim López has been sharing information with the prosecution in order to become an effective collaborator and thus receive benefits to what would be a future penalty. She has on other occasions singled out the president and his nephews as members of a mafia that operates from the Ministry of Transport and Communications. Like Bruno Pacheco, Fray Vasquez Castillo and Gian Marco Castillo, they are already part of the Rewards Program.

IMAGES OF THE PRESIDENT'S PARTY

A few days ago, Panorama disseminated, through a report, unpublished images about Pedro Castillo's 52nd birthday party. According to the note, Mariachi Tequila would have been sought, hired and paid for by López herself at the request of the then Secretary of the Presidency.

The celebration took place in the courtyard of the Palacio de Gobierno residence, with the participation of his wife, children and other relatives, despite the fact that in those days social events had been banned by the Government itself due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The photos of the meeting were shared on social networks by Castillo's nephew, Fray Vasquez Castillo. This publication records a comment by Zamir Villaverde, a businessman who has been arrested by the authorities and who would have provided vehicles to the nephews of the head of state.

This would not have been the president's only celebration. According to Panorama, on the night of October 19, Pacheco would have indicated to López that the cocktails of the party were over, and the businesswoman went to the government headquarters following the requirements indicated by the former secretary.

The images rescued from the security cameras show her going to the Palace and entering without registering her visit. She quickly exchanged words with the security officers and entered Pacheco's office with her company.

A Panorama report shows the president, nephews and Bruno Pacheco celebrating at the Palacio de Gobierno residence.
