Luis de Llano, the great absent from his sister Julissa's birthday celebration

It has been a month and two days since Sasha Sokol issued a statement in which she announced that in her teens she was the victim of abuse of power by producer Luis de Llano Macedo to sustain a romantic relationship that began when the former Timbiriche was just 14 years old.

After the artist's lengthy statement, Luis de Llano had remained completely silent until at the beginning of April he issued a statement that was criticized, as the television producer assured that the relationship he had with Sasha was “free and consensual”, and he even had the permission of his parents.

De Llano said he had not committed any crime, being an honorable man and having a clear conscience of what he is accused of, expressed his respect to Sasha and said that he was no longer willing to touch on the subject that has him in the midst of the controversy.

However, the text by the creator of the groups Timbiriche, Kabah and Garibaldi was harshly criticized by broad sections of the public, who pointed out that what happened would clearly qualify as the crime of statutory rape.

Now it became known that actress Julissa, sister of the television businessman, celebrated her birthday on April 8 surrounded by her family. The image of the intimate meeting was released on the YouTube program of journalist Alejandro Zúñiga, and later began to circulate on social networks.

The photograph shows the theatre producer accompanied by her famous children, Alejandro and Benny Ibarra, Celina de Villar -Benny's wife-; Cecilia Fuentes -half-sister of the party-, and two of her grandchildren, as well as others. However, the great absent from the family postcard was Luis de Llanco Macedo, who has been out of public life since Sasha Sokol unveiled the rugged situation.

Shortly before that, the creator of television hits such as Single Dad, Cachún cachún ra ra and Agujetas de rosa, had been very active in promoting his book Transatlantic Chronicles, which tells about the history of his family, and even three days earlier he had appeared on the interviews with Yordi Rosado, where he expressed the statements for which Sasha ended up speaking.

At the moment the birthday girl, the producer's older sister, has not issued any statements about the situation Luis is facing. For his part, Benny Ibarra has limited himself to expressing his support for Sasha, whom he has known since childhood and whom he called “sister”.

The one who has expressed more developed opinions was Cecilia Fuentes, Luis' half-sister, daughter of the late Rita Macedo and the writer Carlos Fuentes. The writer also came out in defense of Luis and asked to stop the media lynching that she says has been excessive against the creative.

Cecilia was also the subject of claims that Luis and Sasha's relationship was “a beautiful love” and had the consent of the parents of the singer of Serás el aire, so public opinion should not so severely condemn the relationship that happened more than 30 years ago.

“Luis was an idiot to talk about her as she spoke, yes, what a screw up, he minimized her, humiliated her, took away her value as a woman, partner, lover. And what was a very beautiful relationship with a lot of love for both parties. With the permission of both parties, where there was no evil. They were two people who loved each other,” said Cecilia Fuentes in defense of her brother in an interview with journalist Luis Magaña.
