It must be remembered that for the Catholic population, Holy Week is a time of celebration, since the passion, death and resurrection of Jesus are commemorated. For this reason, dozens of people and families in general carry out activities related to the occasion such as the Viacrucis, among others.
In addition, some companies consider two days of this week (Thursday 14th and Friday 15th April) as holidays, that is, they are not considered mandatory to miss as in the case of holidays, but they are granted to workers in some cases, since it is up to each company to offer them or not as rest dates.
It should also be remembered that, in the case of students in basic education, that is, preschool, primary and secondary school, they have their so-called Easter holiday period, which began from this Monday, April 11 and will end on Friday 22nd of the same month. In view of this, minors must join their activities from next Monday, April 25, in accordance with the official calendar governing the Ministry of Public Education (SEP).
