However, something that also caught the attention of his followers strongly is his most recent reconciliation with his firstborn son, Leonardo García Vale.

During the first month of 2022, his wife told him for the morning program Hoy, that García was suffering from various health problems, where the most important ones were related with the spinal cord, as well as leukemia who suffered from taking medication without any medical prescription to treat bad mood.
“He has a condition in which his spinal cord destroys his red blood cells, so right now his hemoglobin is very low and he needs that transfusion to stabilize a little,” he explained for Televisa's morning show.
