Colombians Juan Sebastián Cabal and Robert Farah made their debut with victory at the Mastes 1.000 in Monte Carlo, which is held on clay courts. The pair of national tennis players beat Belgians Sander Gillé and Joran Vliegen with partials of 7-8, 4-6 and 10-7.

The match was defined in two sets with 6-1 and 6-4 partials, highlighting the difficult moment that Cabal and Farah are going through, the fourth favorite couple to win the title in the Californian tournament.
