Coldplay's gift to Huillo, the boy with autism who played their song with them

The pianist took the stage of the British band during their concert at the Foro Sol to perform the song “Different is ok”

A week ago, Huillo took the stage during a Coldplay concert and performed with them the song Different is Ok (Different is Ok), the talented pianist is a 12-year-old boy who has autism and has found music an excellent way to communicate his emotions to other people.

On April 10, the young man shared with his Twitter followers that he received a very special detail from the British band: “That night, when I returned to the dressing room I found the most beautiful note! I share them with you. Thank you my @coldplay”, wrote Hullo.

Coldplay's gift was a drawing of him playing the piano with Chris Martin, Guy Berman, Will Champion and Joy Buckland -the four members of the band-, on the musicians' heads you could see a border that reads “Being different is ok, a phrase from the song he performed with them on April 7.

The wooden frame also included a note with a guitar pen and a note signed by the four musicians of the British group, in the message, thanked him for playing with them.

“Dear Huillo... You're the biggest. Thank you for singing your song with us, it's brilliant. With much love, Coldplay”, could be read in the message. The gift that the child received is framed.

Huillo's followers did not hesitate to comment on the tweet and remind him how much they liked his song, it should be noted that the child is an activist who seeks to make autism spectrum disorder visible and above all, eliminate stereotypes and stigmas about the people who live with him.

How was Huillo's participation with Coldplay

In 2016, Huillo went viral after his father published a video in which the little boy - who was then almost five years old - was moved to tears during a Coldplay concert.

Huillo, is a boy who faces autism spectrum disorder through music, who is also a fan of Coldplay. At their concert on April 4 in Mexico City, the band took him on stage to play the single “Different is Ok” authored by Huillo himself.

The video touched the netizens and audiences of the British band so much that the musicians of hits such as Fix You found out about its existence and decided to give it an incredible musical experience.

Last Sunday, April 3, Coldplay and Huillo met again at the Foro Sol in Mexico City, the meeting took place during the second concert in the country that the performing band of A sky full of starsb offered as part of their tour “Music of the Spheres” in Mexico.

At some point during the night, Chris Martin took the microphone, asked for silence and the full attention of the thousands of attendees.

“This boy's name is Huillo, he's autistic. He's a very special boy. He has been making music as a way of understanding the world, emotions, people. We listened to one of his songs this week and we want to ask him, if that's all right, to come and sing it with us,” he said in his native English.
