Camilo Sesto, when he became the winner of Yo me llamo, took 500 million pesos

Through his social networks, Alejandro León, recognized in the country for being the winner of the most recent edition of the musical imitation contest 'Yo me Llamo', with his character Camilo Sesto, showed one of the most important acquisitions he made with the millionaire sum of money he took home when he was crowned the champion of the talents. The singer showed the car he bought, a van he claimed to have dreamed of many years ago.

(I am available to go out for a walk to 'suck ice cream”, was the message he wrote on his Instagram profile. According to what he showed, he bought a Chevrolet, model Blazer, in white color.

The car, according to its characteristics, has a 3.6-liter V6 engine and 9-speed automatic transmission. At the same time, it has state-of-the-art technology and safety systems to protect the driver. The cost of the car would be approximately 178 million pesos.

Camilo Sesto, when he became the winner of Yo me Llamo, took 500 million pesos, however, under the occasional income tax established in the National Tax Statute, 20% of the millionaire sum, that is, $100 million, was deducted. According to him, in addition to investing it in himself and his parents, he shared the prize with his fellow finalists, the imitators of Maluma and Leonardo Favio.

“We have thought of an agreement, which I think is the fairest thing. We have a very solid friendship that we have been developing. We have reached an ideal that is to distribute the prize in some percentages where we all feel satisfied,” Alejandro León revealed in a talk with Pulzo.

According to what he said on the Caracol Channel gossip program, La Red, he had in mind several plans to invest the money earned in the competition. He said he wanted to buy a farm in Quindío where his family could live with better conditions, without difficulties and 'looking guaduales'. He said he wanted to invest in businesses that are profitable for his present and future economic stability.

In addition to winning the title and the millionaire Yo me llamo award, León received recognition from the mayor's office of Armenia. Alejandro thanked the love of all regions of the country and the mayor's office for receiving the button of the 'Cuyabro' Heart.

León was born in Armenia 23 years ago in a humble home in the central west of the capital of Quindio. He was the sixth of eight siblings. 'Camilo Sesto' had already submitted to a previous edition of Yo me llamo, in 2019, when he met the other finalist of the current edition of Maluma. After leaving the program that year, he prepared to perfect the character to become the exact double of the Spanish singer-songwriter.
