Amada Rosa Pérez is one of the most renowned figures in Colombian entertainment, because after an outstanding modeling career, she made her acting debut with the series Padres e Hijos (1993) and later participated in productions such as La costeña y el cachaco (2003), Vuelo 1503 (2005) and Lorena (2006).

Thanks to all the recognition that her work generated on the catwalks and behind the cameras, the 44-year-old let herself be carried away by vanity and, even though she enjoyed an enviable figure, she made the mistake of modifying her body through surgeries and other aesthetic procedures.

She admitted this herself through a recent interview she gave to the entertainment program La red (Caracol Televisión), in which she commented that biopolymers were injected into her buttocks 25 years ago.

As with all cases of people who have been injected with these dangerous substances, Amada Rosa Pérez began to suffer from serious health problems.

“Two years ago there was an increase in pains that I had suffered for some time, but whose origin I had not identified: pain in the limbs, cramps in my legs, terrible spasmodic stiff neck, my hands twisted, I had insomnia and fatigue, until the time came when I became practically disabled”, assured.

It was then that the Swedish woman turned to her religious beliefs and also to the specialists who recommended her to remove the biopolymers from her body, because according to them, they were the cause of her chronic pain.

Fearing that she would suffer the same consequences on her breasts, the woman decided to remove the breast implants she had when she was 19 years old, because she claims that she was also experiencing discomfort in this area of the body.

In addition, Pérez warns that a surgeon made a modification to his chin without prior consent, which is why he will have to undergo a new operation that will allow him to remove the implant and prevent his jaw bones from being decalcified in the future.

Not a few women in Colombia have been affected by injecting biopolymers into their bodies, and among the best known cases are those of Jessica Cediel, Natalia París, Yina Calderón, Marcela Reyes, Tita Contreras, Lady Noriega and Lina Tejeiro.
