Santiago Alarcón and 'Chichila' Navia premiere family project with which they are going to “remove the mask and get off the pedestal”

The couple of actors launched their YouTube channel a few days ago, in which they will share the reality and “disaster” of belonging to a celebrity family

Santiago Alarcón and Cecilia 'Chichila' Navia are two of the most renowned actors in Colombian television, as they have been part of outstanding productions and, in addition, their life as a couple has proved to be quite striking for a wide audience that follows their professional careers and personal lives.

In fact, thanks to the media attention that has often returned news to them, the couple decided to start a new project with which they open the window to a family intimacy that very few knew.

This is' Fami-lío ', a YouTube channel that the Alarcón Navia — including their sons Matías and María — premiered a few days ago to tell their followers some personal stories and family experiences.

Although Santiago Alarcón and his wife were not very fanatical about publishing their children on digital platforms, much less exposing their personal lives, they were the ones who asked for it to be so.

“There came a point where the economy of our house focused on the work of social networks and at that moment they start telling us that they want to leave, so they appeared passing or spooning in the live broadcasts we were doing (...) Then they tell us that they want to appear on Youtube and, after analyzing it, we said yes,” explained the 42-year-old actress, who also clarified that the channel is created in such a way that when the little ones don't want to, they don't have to be there.

As for the content that they are going to develop there, he said that they will show what problems and difficulties the artists' families are experiencing, so that some people stop thinking that because they are 'famous' they lead a perfect life.

Likewise, in 'Fami-lío' there will be spaces to tell stories, prepare some recipes, tell infidences and even for Santiago to “talk about his multiple personalities”.

El paisa enjoys a rich acting career that includes acclaimed soap operas such as: 'Until silver separates' (2006), 'Man is German' (2010), 'La niña' (2016), 'Garzón vive' (2018), among many others.

Alarcón was awarded twice at the India Catalina Awards: the first was in 2012, as 'Best Lead Actor in Series' for his character in 'Germán Quintero', in 'Man is German'; and the second time was in 2019 for the same category, but on that occasion for 'Garzón vive'.

While Navia has become popular on the small screen for having been part of well-known soap operas such as: 'La Baby Sister' (2000), 'The Widow of the Mafia' (2004), 'The Last Happy Marriage' (2008), 'Bermudez' (2009), 'Escobar, the Patron of Evil' (2012), 'Pa' quereterte '(2020), among others.
