Regina Blandón responded to a netizen's criticism for seeing her “old” in one of her last Instagram posts. The actress exposed her follower and explained that all people age day by day.
In one of the images that Regina Blandón shared on Instagram, one user commented that he looked older than his age indicates. “You look super beautiful, but you look old! Maybe it's the color of hair,” the publication reads. To which the actress did not want to remain silent and she evidenced it in her stories.
The protagonist of La Familia P. Luche, who has been characterized by defending the body positive and the rejection of body stereotypes, responded to the Internet user with an explanation about why she looks older and why this happens.
To his temporal history he added: “Let's normalize birthday. Nememen”. His reply was very well received by his followers, however, within minutes the netizen deleted his comment, which Regina also evidenced.
With a video of her expressions, as well as strange grimaces, the actress wrote amusingly: “The coward has already deleted his comment. I leave my old age up close to you.”
Despite that criticism about her physique, Regina received many other comments where her fans let her know that she looks “amazing” or “beautiful”, as well as congratulating her on having changed her look by having coppery hair.
This is not the first time that Blandón has responded to Instagram and Twitter users who question its content, such was the case last December, when the historian replied to the tweet of a netizen who called her “super progre” and claimed that she did not consume products where she worked.
He sarcastically remarked that this Internet user claimed not to consume his content, but anyway he spent his time dedicating posts on his social networks: “However, here we have you (here we have you), throwing myself to attract attention (...) I wish you nice things and openness of mind,” Regina wrote back.
Earlier, the protagonist of Guerra de Likes shared on her Twitter account that she was an advocate of all gender identities, so she supports non-binary people. “On this account we support the nb (non-binary) band and respect its pronouns,” she tweeted, which caused controversy among her followers, who criticized or supported her.
Regina fixed her stance after a video went viral where a person asked within her remote class to be named as a “companion”. For this reason, it also became important to use pronouns such as “elle” to refer to those who consider themselves non-binary.
Some users claimed that “they are destroying language”, to which she quickly responded: “Let's get informed earlier”, shared links explaining pronouns and asking for empathy for the diversity of gender identities.
