Rumors about the birth of Indigo, the newest member of the Montaner family, began throughout this week. Although nothing had been confirmed by the musicians, international media claimed that Camilo and Evaluna had already become parents and that Indigo was a beautiful and healthy child. Faced with rumors, the first-time dads decided to silence the rumors and reveal the news themselves. With tender photographs, the girl's feet and some moments of Eva's birth were seen. Ricardo Montaner, after days of silence, showed his excitement about the birth of his granddaughter.

“As you can imagine, this house, even our breath these days, is called Indigo. Indigo is not a song and it is not a dream either, it is already a reality, so I wanted to thank them for so many messages of affection that they have sent us”, the musician began saying in a video he shared on his social networks.

“Indigo is a beautiful girl who sends them a lot of kisses and hugs and who, hopefully soon, will go on tour with her parents and someday with her grandparents and uncles,” Montaner added when talking about her granddaughter.

The girl's face is not yet known, in fact, on social networks, Camilo and Evaluna have kept their lives in reserve during these days. Despite sharing several of their most special moments as a couple throughout their relationship, they have now chosen to keep this moment in complete privacy.

The announcement of the pregnancy was made on October 13, 2021, when the couple released a song called 'Indigo'. Initially, the topic seems to be talking about the relationship of both, however, as the latter pass it is revealed that it is a topic dedicated to their first daughter. “Prepare the cheek for me to kiss it. And it is that good things take time sometimes. I had to wait 9 months for you,” Eva sings. The couple chose the name Indigo because of the versatility it allowed them, because, by mutual decision, they decided to know the sex of their baby until its birth.

“We're going to be parents. We couldn't wait to share with you the most beautiful news we have ever received. God chose us to be Indigo's parents and we feel very fortunate to see them come and flourish,” the singer added after the announcement she made with the song. The artists got married in February 2020.

“Indigo was born. God was present every second of the birth in our home. She's a happy and curious girl. Evaluna is the strongest, most virtuous, and bravest woman who has ever set foot on this planet. All my respect, my service and my dedication to the queen of this house (...) Thank you for all your messages, your prayers and the spurts of love and light that you have sent here. La Tribe grew up. (Dropping the phone again to take another nap all 3),” Camilo wrote as he shared the photos of his wife and daughter.

The Colombian singer, in that same publication, let him see a video in which he hears singing 'Indigo' to his young daughter. “Little piece of mine. My coffee and bread. I'm the president of your fan club,” he plays Camilo as he points to his daughter. According to what is known so far, Indigo was born at his parents' house. The birth did not occur under traditional medical conditions. According to People en Español magazine, Evaluna was assisted by a midwife and by her mother, Marlene, who was trained in the subject for a while.

“I trained as a doula, I took the whole course. I trained myself precisely because I wanted to know in depth what that meant and the truth is that one thing led me to another (...) I enjoyed it a lot because I feel that it is perfect to go back to the time of the midwives,” said Ricardo Montaner's wife.
