Tarapoto is a city where you can find a wide variety of food, lodging and tourist landscapes attractive to any citizen. HOW TO GET THERE?
The distance from Lima to Tarapoto is approximately 985 km, traveling by road, which can take about 28 hours. The city of the jungle communicates with the Fernando Belaúnde Terry highway. You can start from Lima to Chiclayo, then to Olmos, you pass through Bagua, Rioja, Moyobamba and arrive in Tarapoto. It's almost 22 hours by bus.
For flights, it is 1 hour with 28 minutes on average, with a price of $47 the cheapest. The best way to get from Lima to Tarapoto is to fly which takes 1h 29m and costs $55 - $180. Alternatively, you can bus, which costs $13 - $40 and takes 26h 13m.

Chazuta: Chazuta is known for its cultural wealth and natural beauty. Here we find the Wasichay Cultural Center (which has an Ethnographic Ceramic Room and Traditional Pottery Workshop, the Funeral Urns of Chazuta, the Chazutayacu Thermal Baths and the Tununtunumba Falls.
Lamas: Located on the top of a hill at an altitude of 814 meters, it has steep streets and arranged in terraces, it was named “City of the Three Floors” by Antonio Raimondi. The story goes that the first floor belonged to the indigenous descendants of the Chancas who came from southern Peru, the second to the mestizos and the third was used as a fort.
