Art can be enjoyed anywhere, even on TransMilenio. This has been demonstrated by the ballet dancer who appears on TikTok as @xikaria, who has recently made an impact on the internet with her videos performing beautiful dance steps on buses and stations of the Bogotá public transport system.

The most recent of his videos has been shared by several users on other social networks such as Twitter and Instagram, and was recorded in the middle of one of the transitions that were evident on public transport in recent days. In Bogotá, there have been days of peaceful protest by motorcyclists, which affected the mobility of the people of Bogotá, as many were forced to get off the buses and walk to their destinations.

In the midst of that 'chaos' of the capital, 'xikaria' found a space to do a dance demonstration. Standing in an articulated full that, in addition, was in the middle of the trancón and had the door open because several users decided to get off it, the dancer surprised the citizens who were next to her when she decided to 'hang' from the tube of the bus and start dancing.

Taking care of each movement, the artist interpreted what in comments they described as the 'most epic departure of a TransMilenio bus', this before the surprised and confused eyes of other transport users. The video, on its official profile, already accumulates more than 300,000 views and more than a thousand comments in which he is applauded for his talent and creativity; while also lamenting the reaction of those who “do not know how to appreciate art”.

However, this is not the only time that the also plastic artist and film director, as detailed in her profile, takes TransMilenio with her dance steps. In fact, on two previous occasions the dancer had already discarded users with her performances, both on a bus and on a station of the integrated transport system.

Here you can see the compilation of videos that @xikaria has published dancing on TransMilenio and that are now viral:

The three videos were published by the artist in the last few hours and all have reached thousands of views and comments; however, it seems that the reaction of those who have seen her on the stations is unexpressive.

The first clip was recorded at the 'Marly' station, before the passage of busy passengers who little noticed what the dancer was doing, while a street vendor and some users who were waiting for the articulate barely looked at the dancer, but they did not stray from her zeal and routine.

Another took place in broad daylight inside a bus, in which the artist got up from her chair to perform her dance; however, again the passengers were more attentive to their cell phones than what was happening right in front or on their sides.

A real contrast to the situation has been the reactions on social networks: “I want to find it”; “Art and beauty at its best. Unfortunately few appreciate it”; “excellent! and people not even aware”; “I love them, people who dare to be different in an anesthetized city full of entities that walk by inertia”, have been some of the comments he has received.

It is not the first time that artistic acts like this take place in TransMilenio, and previously a group of trans women had hit a station of the transport system with the dance of Voguing that was a symbol of resistance in New York. And recently Alejandro Quintero, model and creator of “sensual” content also surprised dancing without a shirt in an articulate.
