Social networks, especially Twitter, have become a trend with the announcement of the new UK ambassador to Peru, his trip to the capital (Lima). This is Gavin Cook, who on his official account of the blue bird, showed a photograph with his suitcases ready to travel to the country, replacing his predecessor Kate Harrisson, who served a few weeks ago.

The new ambassador was thrilled by his arrival in the capital, in the face of new challenges in international relations between Peru and the United Kingdom. “Packed suitcases. Goodbyes made. Tears shed. But very, very excited. Next stop #Lima. I'm looking forward to getting started,” Gavin Cook wrote.

The answers were not long in coming, and amid expectations for the new management, Peruvians responded with fun advice. Between welcomes — in Spanish and English — users reminded him of the political situation in Peru, tips for citizen security and, above all, the enormous gastronomy that the country has.

The news that was posted in the early hours of the morning, already exceeds more than 5 thousand likes. However, the positive messages and harangues for the current situation in Peru are noteworthy. In that sense, these are the best tips that Peruvians gave to Gavin Cook.
