Femicide in Querétaro: the body of the minor Victoria Guadalupe was found

After several days missing, the body of the minor Victoria Guadalupe was found in a place near the subdivision where she lived, according to the Querétaro Attorney General's Office.

The minor was last seen on April 6 in the Paseos del Marqués Fraccionamiento, in the municipality of Marqués of the Queretan entity.

According to the neighbors' testimonies, Victoria disappeared after going to the stationery store around 05:15 on Wednesday afternoon. So when she didn't see her daughter return, Victoria's mother went out in her search, which the neighbors joined.

Without results and without the response of the authorities, neighbors demonstrated at the passage of State Highway 210 (El Colorado-El Rodeo) to demand justice. So the authorities activated the Amber Alert to expedite its early location.

For its search, according to the Attorney General's Office of the State of Querétaro (FGE), more than 100 elements belonging to different entities such as the Attorney General's Office, the State Police and the Municipal Police were deployed.

All members of these comprehensive search brigades repeatedly reviewed the trajectory indicated by the victim's relatives, which he should have followed from his home to his place of destination.

During the following days, security cameras were reviewed, as well as interviews with relatives and neighbors who could provide information on Victoria's whereabouts.

They also checked sewers, coladeras and risk spaces in nearby condominiums. However, during the afternoon of this Friday, in a place close to the destination, his body was found covered with plastic.

With this fact, where it is noted that the girl's body was deposited in the place after her search, new lines of research were initiated and the protocol for investigating femicides was activated.

Expert Services conducted the processing of the place, as well as the staff of the Femicide Prosecutor's Office. The body was taken to SEMEFO so that the authorities could determine the cause of death.

For this reason, during the early hours of Saturday, the prosecutor's office announced that investigative acts were carried out as well as simultaneous searches within the Fraccionamiento to continue the investigations.

The search warrants were granted by a Judicial Control Judge, who authorized intervention in different departments. In the deployment of the operation, elements of the State Police, the Ministry of Public Security of the Municipality of Querétaro, as well as the Secretariat of Public Security and Municipal Traffic of El Marqués participated.

Similarly, in the state of Nuevo León, the body of María Fernanda Contreras was found, which had disappeared since last April 4 in the La Alhambra neighborhood in Monterrey.

María Fernanda, according to her relatives, went to Apodaca on April 3, when they lost contact with her. The vehicle in which he was traveling was found three days later, although the authorities did not specify the location.

On the other hand, the authorities assured that there was no indication that she had been kidnapped, although they did not rule out the possibility.

According to the family's testimonies, Maria Fernanda went to see some friends and then went to Apodaca to see a car with an acquaintance.

His body was found at the home of the Exhacienda Santa Rosa neighborhood, in Apodaca after the completion of a search warrant. María Fernanda was 27 years old and graduated from Tecnológico de Monterrey.
