The famous Easter period will begin next Sunday, April 10, so some processes and procedures in Mexico City tend to change in schedules and days. Given this, the government presided by Claudia Sheinbaum announced the dates and time to be considered in the verification process.
Thus, the Secretariat for the Environment (Sedema) of the CDMX, through the General Directorate of Air Quality, revealed how the verificentres will work during some days of the week from Sunday, April 10 to Saturday 16 of the same month.
And it is that according to the information it will be at least three days of changes. Even one of those dates will be suspended altogether.
How will the verificenters operate?
*Thursday, April 14: Hours of operation will be from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
*Friday, April 15: check centers will be closed.
* Saturday, April 16: they will also be served from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Sedema also reported that starting the week of April 18, the Vehicle Verification Centers will provide their services on a regular basis. Therefore, they will return to their normal schedule, which is Monday to Saturday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Who checks in April?
The Ministry of the Environment is governed by a special calendar with which drivers can present themselves for the verification procedure of their car.
Thus, the citizens who will have to take into account the process during this month are:
*Red gummed: 3 or 4 plate finish.
*Green gumming: finishing plates 1 or 2, who can do the process until May.
Meanwhile, we must remember that for Catholics, Holy Week is a special period of faith, to commemorate the passion, death and resurrection of Christ. For this reason, some Mexicans carry out special activities during those days. This year Holy Week runs from Sunday, April 10 to April 16 of the same month.
Are Thursday and Good Friday mandatory days of rest? This is one of the questions that people often ask themselves during Holy Week, a religious period that some believers in Mexico take into account.
It is a couple of days that are part of the holidays of more than 9 days for students; however, for the workers of the country this is not the case. First of all, it must be remembered that holidays are established as official breaks in the country, that is, both employees and students must stop their activities during the indicated date.
While holidays are not considered compulsory; however, in some institutions they do grant them to their workers, on the occasion of a special celebration, such as Thursday and Good Friday or the Day of the Dead.
When is the holiday? Students will be able to take this vacation period from Monday, April 11 to Friday, April 22 of the same month. In this way, teachers and students will return to their classes until Monday, April 25, according to the Ministry of Public Education (SEP).
What are the holy days?
*Thursday, April 14, 2022
*Friday, April 15.
In this sense, the above-mentioned days of Holy Week are not considered compulsory, but are dates of leave and will only be granted in companies that determine it for their workers.
