Snyder's next adventure in the cinema

Zack Snyder's new project belongs to the science fiction genre and is heavily influenced by Akira Kurosawa's The Seven Samurai. In February of this year, the director announced that his cast would consist of Ray Fisher, Sofia Boutella, Bae Doona, Charlie Hunnam, Djimon Hounsou, Jena Malone, Staz Nair, Rupert Friend, Cary Elwes, Michiel Huisman and Corey Stoll.

Originally, the idea hovered around the Star Wars universe... However, over time, it took its own course to become an original world written by Snyder in collaboration with Shay Hatten and Kurt Johnstad. The plot focuses on a mysterious young woman who embarks on a mission to locate and recruit mercenary soldiers across the galaxy with the aim of joining the confrontation against the military force of the tyrant Regent Balisarius.

Zack Snyder is also currently working on the second installment of The Army of the Dead, a story that has already become a successful film franchise for Netflix following the release of the spin-off called The Army of Thieves (the filmmaker featured as a producer). And soon with Rebel Moon, he intends to strengthen his relationship with the streaming service much more. None of his future productions yet has an official release date.
