The alert indicated that there would be some explosive in the vicinity of the offices located on Reforma Avenue, almost on the corner of Danube River and opposite the Angel of Independence, where the embassy is located.

The Mexico City police reported that agents of the corporation showed up to that place, but by a blue vehicle parked in a prohibited place, on Rio Danubio and Rio Volga streets, in the Cuauhtémoc neighborhood, Cuauhtémoc mayor's office.

The local media report noted that troops arrived from the Task Force Grouping, who are known as Zorros. It is an elite corps specializing in explosives handling and immediate responses.
