Viral: driver uses his feet to advance his car like the 'Flintstones'

At the rhythm of Yabba Dabba Duuu, the driver advanced his car to pass through a street that was in full traffic. The video is from February but is still viral on social media.

A few months ago, a video went viral on TikTok and also on Twitter, because it remembered the childhood of many in a real context. It happened in Peru, on a street in the capital, Lima, where in the middle of traffic a lead-colored rusty Volkswagen Beetle appeared, the striking thing is that the driver uses his feet to move the car forward, as if they were the Flintstones.

The driver did the best imitation of Fred Flintstone, without bare feet, in full sun and without shame to advance his car in severe traffic. The viral video was recorded by Tik Tok user @bebe_angeles, in February while waiting for the traffic light to turn green in Lima's San Juan de Lurigancho district. The clip had more than 155 thousand views, more than 10,000 likes and more than 500 comments.

On the other hand, while nearby vehicles were accelerating their engines, the Beetle driver lowered his legs through a hole in the car and pedaled in the left lane. I watched the legendary caveman cartoon character for several seconds before his engine ran again. This generated a memory among fans of the popular television series.

One TikTok user joked that the owner of the Beetle was simply trying to save on high gas prices. 'I know gasoline is expensive, but going that far, I don't think Fred Flintstone is that stingy, 'wrote another netizen. The story also went viral on Twitter, where it garnered more than 4,000 likes and more than 129,000 views.
