Since Daddy Yankee announced his retirement from the international stage, for which he will make his farewell tour that included four dates in Colombia, there have been several fans of the artist and some of his colleagues have even regretted his decision: But with this news, others took the opportunity to generate all kinds of comments on social networks.
This was the case of Anuel AA, another exponent of urban music, who after the announcement of the Big Boss pointed out that he would be the replacement for Daddy Yankee, who was proclaimed on countless occasions as the king of reggaeton, precisely because of his talent, compositions and his long career in show business.
“Now that Daddy Yankee is retiring, the one who is going to sit on the throne is going to be me. Do you know what I'm saying to you? And not only in the urban genre, I will be the king of all Latin music,” Anuel said in a video.
The statements of Karol G's ex-partner were taken as “self-centered” and criticism soon appeared. One of those was Diego Sáenz, remembered for being the presenter of children's bands on Caracol Televisión and a DJ on the radio station Los 40 Principales.
“Daddy Yankke retires from music after 32 successful years of his career and Anuel says that he will occupy the throne,” said the Bogotá initially, adding to the list of criticisms that the Puerto Rican received and joining the controversy generated on social networks.

And he added the points why Anuel AA would not have to keep the title that Daddy Yankee held for more than 30 years, exposing them as follows in a publication that Sanez called “Letter to Anuel AA”:
“Let's see, Mr. Anuel. For you to be the king of something, the first thing you need to do is earn the respect of the people, just like Yankee did. One does not proclaim himself king of anything... one is or is not. Second, for one to be the king of some genre of music, the first thing to do is good music and show why one is king, not on the verge of collaborations and public scandals,” explained the DJ and boyfriend of former Señorita Colombia, Laura González.
Continuing his argument, he added:
“... third, you say that the best of the old is Yankee and the best of the new is you, based on what? ... fourth, ask the Rolling Stones, Madonna, Michael Jackson, Daddy Yankee, the kings of something, what needs to be done, we're far away, right? And fifth, that I have seen it, a show without dancing, without singing and at the point of brrrr is not a show”, concluded Sáenz in his explanation.

The reactions in the publication of the bogotano did not take long to appear as it already reaches 200,000 views and garnered 15,800 likes from its followers. Among the comments, those who support the presenter with his statements stand out because they consider that the performer of 'Addicto' does not know how to sing and has also received comments from Rafa Taibo, Nicolás Arrieta, Grupo Siam, among others.
The comments that stand out the most are: “the king is what and looking for what, he better take the road”; “I totally agree, you had to say it and you said it”; “be careful because this little fur besides the lack of talent, he lacks maturity and he spends it threatening people”; “totally, you couldn't have said it better”, among others.
