“We've seen her hit him. I've never seen him hit her,” Ashley Vaughn, a friend of the defendant, said to the media outlet.

However, other testimonies collected from close people mentioned to the television station that they had seen Obumseli beating the model a week before the tragedy happened.

“I couldn't tell if it was with my hands open or closed, but he was beating her,” one neighbor told Local10.

It is not enough to say that we are shocked and injured, we are completely devastated. His murder leaves many questions unanswered and creates a void that can never be repaired or filled. Not even with time”, can be read in the description of the site that seeks to raise funds.

In this regard, the publication highlights that the 27-year-old man was a good person and that the events that took place were unfair.

“Christian was extremely compassionate and always wanted to encourage those around him. He did not deserve to have his life cut short by a heinous act of violence. We will never forget her infectious smile that could light up any room or her spirit of solidarity. He will always be remembered by his grandmother, mother, father, brother, extended family and friends,” says the website.
