After Lele Pons and Kimberly Loaiza released their new song Piketona on the night of April 6, a new controversy arose around the success that already has so far accumulated more than three million views on Youtube.

And the fact is that the Spanish singer known as Alade Siempre denounced from her social networks that the two performers “stole” her idea, since she had been working on a project with the same name as the melody for a while.

“That this is plagiarism, this is plagiarism, his chorus of “piketona, piketona”, the main idea of that song is my song Piquetona, you understand? There's not much to explain. The unfair thing is that because they have millions of followers this stays that way, what happens to the copyright of the artists who are starting out as in my case? It seems surreal to me what happened to me,” Alade Siempre began to say.

In this regard, the young woman anticipated that several Internet users would probably say that the only similarity was the name of the songs, so she stressed that “without the root of their song, the new success of Lele and Kimberly would not have been born.

I've been posting this project on my Instagram for months on this account. Months telling people, my song Piquetona is going to come out I'm making an album, I even made a game with my followers so that they would guess the name of the song (...) so that now out of nowhere the industry comes to steal it,” he said.

The response from netizens was not long in coming and several of them defended Kimbery Loaiza. In addition, they pointed out that it was not the first time that the term “piquetona” was used in a song.

“I guess you were also inspired by the piquetona cumbia”, “The song is nothing like that of the girl. And the word 'piquetona' is not yours at all. It is as if Jamby accuses Kenya of plagiarism for La Carta”, are some of the mentions that appear on social networks.

It should be remembered that the song by Lele and Kimberly alludes to a girl who is very successful and likes to party with her friends, the rhythm is quite danceable with touches of reggaeton and pop. In an interview, the beautiful internet celebrities expressed their opinion and Lele said that she was looking for a friend with a lot of flow and picket to accompany her to sing, referring to Kim; they added that they are very happy with the result.

This is the second song released by Lele Pons and the third by Kimberly Loaiza this year. The clip features some celebrity cameos, such as tiktoker Kunno, tiktoker Brianda Deyanara and model Macarena Achaga who is the current girlfriend of JuanPa Zurita.
