Within the government plan of the presidential candidate of the Centro Esperanza Coalition, Sergio Fajardo, is the creation of two ministries that will fight against insecurity and women's equality in society.
This has been made known repeatedly by the aspirant of the center. For example, one of his bets is the Ministry of Security and Coexistence, which he gave details of this week during his visit to the city of Bucaramanga.
This will include the Police and will include a reform of the National Penitentiary and Prison Institute (Inpec). “The Ministry of Security and Coexistence where we are going to take the Police, where INPEC will have to be in order to reform it there, is a way to change security in the country (...) This government (Duque's) that of insecurity, gives us the country with the highest rates of insecurity,” explained Fajardo.
On the other hand, in dialogue with Infobae Colombia, the former governor of Antioquia gave other details of how that portfolio would work in a eventual government of yours. Of course, he did not explain how the issue of bureaucracy will be handled when creating another government entity.
On the other hand, the former mayor of Medellín referred to this portfolio during the “comeback” event in the capital of Santander, which he attended this week. There, he said that the Ministry of Women's Affairs “will fight for women's equality in Colombia”; in addition, it will bring other alleged benefits that he himself announced during his campaign event.
Moreover, he assures that this portfolio will also try to make politics more “fair” for women. “Here women's inequality in all fields of life is marked and we don't accept it, we are going to transform it,” she said.
These are some of the initiatives that the presidential candidate of Centro Esperanza has announced since before the consultation that defined him as the official bishop of that coalition. On its website there are other projects with which it seeks to match the intention to vote with its opponents Gustavo Petro, Federico Gutiérrez and Rodolfo Hernández, who have surpassed it in the last polls.
Regarding land restitution, Fajardo told Infobae that he seeks to order the land and legally define to the peasants the territories that belong to them by law. How will he do it?
“We have a proposal for rural development where we have to manage the countryside, in particular, the land. To whom it belongs, the formalization of the land, to define well the boundaries of the land, of the reserve areas. (...) We have to make a competitive field with a project that I am very excited about, which is a new generation of peasants that has to do with education associated with the rural world,” said the candidate for this medium.
On the other hand, in terms of education, the applicant wants to create a Free National Public Digital University “to reach at least 80,000 or 100,000 students, who can be incorporated with the best quality using all the lessons of the pandemic, the best technology, convene the best universities in Colombia,” he said. Fajardo. Other details of their proposals here.
