Renowned DJ was the victim of hit man attack this Friday in Cali

The artist was moving in his car with another person who was injured after the attack that took place on the so-called Sameco roundabout at one of the city's exits

The phenomenon of the hit man doesn't give up in Cali, because in the last few hours he claimed the life of Juan Camilo Navia, who is artistically known as DJ Navia and who hours ago did one of his usual performances in a bar in the capital of the Valley.

With the guaracha as a rhythm he believed in for some time, he used to make the attendees at night rumbas dance, thus managing to make himself known in different places and also gain a good number of followers on social networks as in his career as a DJ.

Everything seems to indicate, according to the first reports, that Navia was in her car around 6:00 in the morning at the Sameco roundabout, which allows her to enter and exit the road that connects Cali with Yumbo, and there her life was taken by some hit men who were travelling on motorcycles.

The DJ would come from playing a nightclub in the Menga neighborhood and before that he would have played in Prague. For the followers of the artist, the news has caused sadness given that in the messages that Juan Camilo used to leave on his social networks he invited us to be better and better people and not give up on fulfilling dreams, as he did in his last post 4 days ago:

DJ Navia was accompanied by another person who was injured and whose identity is not yet known, nor the seriousness of the injuries. The authorities, for their part, have not yet issued a statement about the event and how the events would have occurred, while it is unknown whether the 24-year-old had previously reported death threats.

In the next few hours it would be known in detail how the DJ's murder happened. Meanwhile, the comments of his followers on the artist's latest publication have come little by little and spontaneously.

There you can read heartfelt messages such as: “I don't believe them brother 💔😓 you know it will always be mine ❤”, “How sad to end the life of a young man just beginning to live, full of dreams 😢 peace to his soul and resignation to all his family and friends 😔” and on the part of his colleagues “😱 We are very sorry for the loss of Our colleague very much strength for your family and friends in these tough Moments 😔 Q.E.P.D 🙏🕊️”.

The figures of violence in Cali remain alarming, since in March alone there were 83 victims of homicide reported, with only a slight reduction compared to the reports of 2021. While so far this year more than 240 people have been reported deaths due to violence, with Cali being one of the most violent cities in Colombia, according to the Cali Security Observatory.
