INE promoted the vote with TikTok by BTS and Olivia Rodrigo

The National Electoral Institute (INE), the body responsible for regulating electoral processes and citizen participation in Mexico, as part of its social media campaign that seeks to encourage the collaboration of the new generations, used a video that went viral during the 2022 Grammys ceremony, when V, a member of the group BTS, was seen in a very romantic way next to one of the big winners of the night, Olivia Rodrigo.

Through its TikTok account, INE resumed one of the most iconic moments of the Grammy gala, when the 7 members of the group appeared on the stage of the iconic MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. There, RM, Jin, Suga, Jimin, V, J-Hope and Jungkook made their first impression completely black simulating a spy scene.

But that was not all, there was a moment that will remain in posterity when V, while approaching him on television, was seen talking seductively with Olivia Rodrigo. This situation quickly became part of the trend of social networks where, later, the followers of the group and the singer made memes of the curious scene.

On this occasion, the body responsible for ensuring democracy in Mexico and which is preparing to attest to the Mandate Revocation process that will take place next Sunday April 10, throughout the Mexican Republic, shared the curious moment between the interpreter of Traitor and the member of BTS, but with another translation where they talk about the usefulness of the elector's credential.

“What is the use of voting? ”, asked Olivia Rodrigo in the INE video. V says to him, “Do you want to know? is to strengthen democracy in Mexico, with this”, he then alludes to how the credential must be given to vote in a la carte so that the vote can be exercised.

The video, so far, has almost reached 600 thousand views and has just over 17 thousand reactions in the comment box.

This practice of uploading digital content that is trending is a very common practice on the part of the body currently headed by Lorenzo Córdova, and it is not the first time that the official INE account has uploaded things of the group played by Butter .

In mid-March, the social network and the name of the boyband became a trend in Mexico, after they published three videos trying to encourage the participation of the young Mexicans and which were replicated by the Army.

The three videos quickly reached between three million views. “Here practicing for my INE photo”, “Remember to practice signing for your INE” and “My friends and I coming to pick up our INE”, is the name of the video clips that El Instituto Nacional Electoral shared using the image of the members of BTS.
