The National Civil Service Commission (CNSC) is looking for managers and teachers to work in public institutions in different regions of the country.

The call has been available since April 4, when a public offer of jobs was opened aimed at teacher and teacher managers throughout the country.

On this occasion, more than 36,500,000 vacancies will be offered in 89 Ministries of Education in the country. Of these, 30 are departmental and 59 are municipal. Therefore, there will be offers in almost every corner of the country.

In the coming days, the CNSC will publish the dates for the registration and sale of participation rights through official channels, such as the website www.cnsc.gov.co and social networks

It should be clarified that the payment of participation fees must be made by all applicants to the merit competitions carried out by the CNSC in the country and this money collected is intended to finance each of the selection processes for the provision of career jobs convened by the commission.

The CNSC invites teachers, while registrations are being opened and rights are canceled, to review the offers in which they are interested and to consult the agreements and the annex of their territorial entity, which establish the rules of the selection process, which can be found on the CNSC website.

They can also begin their registration with SIMO and collect the requested documents according to the vacancy that fits the applicant's profile (ID, diplomas and degree certificates, work and experience certifications, publications, other studies, courses, professional card, and other documents required by position, etc.)

To facilitate this important step, the CNSC has tutorials that will help citizens register successfully.

The National Civil Service Commission has been invited, through the Foreign Ministry, as an observer, to participate in the 21st Session of the Committee of Experts on Public Administration (CEPA) of the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).

The meeting will be held from 4 to 8 April at UN Headquarters in New York City, and will be attended by Commissioner President Monica María Moreno and Commissioners Jorge Alirio Ortega and Mauricio Liévano Bernal.

For this year, the central theme will focus on how to “Transform institutions and governance to better advance towards 2030″, which will be developed over the four scheduled days, with the following sub-themes:

- Governance and public administration aspects of the theme of the 2022 session of ECOSOC, and of the 2022 high-level political forum on sustainable development.

- Establishment of strong institutions to combat climate change and its effects, and for the sustainable management, protection and restoration of natural resources.
