Since its debut in 2018, Élite is one of the greatest hits among the non-English language series of Netflix and promises to continue to succeed four years later. This April 8, the streaming platform premiered the eight episodes that make up the fifth season, what are the students of Las Encinas bringing us this time? There is no doubt that drama, love and sex will not be missing in the continuation of the Spanish youth series.

Almost all of the original cast of the production opened their way to other projects, with only Itzan Escamilla, Omar Ayuso, Claudia Salas and Georgina Amorós being the only ones to maintain since the first seasons. On the other hand, since the fourth installment, the cast was renewed with the entry of Carla Díaz, Martina Cariddi, Manu Ríos, Pol Granch, Andrés Velencoso and Diego Martín. The next episodes also arrive with surprises in its cast, find out who it is here.

What new characters were added in season 5?

The stars Valentina Zenere, André Lamoglia, Adam Nourou and Carloto Cotta are the new faces that land in this season of Elite recently released on Netflix. The most remarkable thing about these signings — called for the shooting in the middle of last year — is that each of them has a different origin and stories that support a remarkable acting experience.

Zenere is an Argentinian actress, singer and model who became known in her country for integrating the novel Casi Ángeles and also for bringing Amber Smith to life in Soy Luna, the hit series broadcast on Disney Channel. For his part, Lamoglia is a Brazilian actor who has previously appeared in Juacas and Bia, two titles that Disney Channel developed for television in his native country.

Nourou is a Frenchman of only 19 years old and was the winner of the Best New Actor award by the Goyas. His performance as Massar in the Spanish film Adú, directed by Salvador Calvo, led him to position himself in the group of young performers who are already a promise for international cinema. Meanwhile, Cotta is an artist from Portugal with a long experience working in front of the cameras.

Valentina Zenere is Isadora Artiñán; André Lamoglia is Ivan Carvalho; Adam Nourou is Bilal; and Carloto Cotta is Cruz Carvalho in the fifth season that is available to watch from this Friday, April 8. The cast is completed by Itzan Escamilla, Omar Ayuso, Claudia Salas, Georgina Amorós, Carla Diaz, Martina Cariddi, Manu Ríos, Pol Granch, Andrés Velencoso and Diego Martín.

Élite is the creation of Carlos Montero and Darío Madrona, under the production of Zeta Fiction TV for Netflix. The title belongs to the drama and suspense genre, as well as touching on such important topics as sexual diversity, cultural identity, drugs, diseases, bullying, the use of social networks, among others. Almost the entire narrative is set in places in Madrid, Spain.
